Lisa began employment with AmeriCare Plus’ Pulaski Agency in May 2013 as the Staffing Coordinator. She accepted the Agency Manager position in November 2014. When asked what she enjoys most about working for AmeriCare Plus, Lisa said, “I greatly enjoy being a member of the AmeriCare Plus team because I feel being a team player is important in any establishment. As a dedicated employee of AmeriCare Plus, I feel I possess good leadership skills as well as determining when I need to be lead. I thoroughly enjoy working with the public and community, most importantly I enjoy the contact with the clients and aides.” Since joining the AmeriCare team Lisa has been able to expand and enhance her knowledge of the “Personal” Care business. The Pulaski Agency is very involved in the community. Lisa serves on the Board of Directors for the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce as well as the Executive Board, the New River Valley Disability Resource Center Board of Directors, the Pulaski Community Partners Coalition as Co-Chair, and the Board of Directors for Pulaski on Main. She also serves as President of the S.A.L.T. Council of Pulaski County, as well as the Pulaski County Triad Chapter. Americare Plus – Pulaski won the Small Business of the Year Award from the Chamber of Commerce in 2015, and they have also been named Southwest Times Reader’s Choice in Personal Care in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
